Honors encourages strong and ambitious UW students to apply. 荣誉学院 provides a rich opportunity to enhance your major studies, give you independent research experience, and foster relationships throughout your time at UW. Just follow the instructions below to apply and become a part of the 荣誉学院 community.
For acceptance in the 荣誉学院 as a current UW student, please ensure you meet the following requirements:
Completion of 30+ post-high school credit hours
Completion of a COM1 and COM2 course
For students joining the College with the above record, the 荣誉学院 curriculum is: one non-western Honors seminar, two upper-division Honors seminars, and the senior capstone project. If you have questions about requirements to graduate with Honors, please email honors建议@tarreytoraemusic.com.
For acceptance in the 荣誉学院 please complete the following two bulleted components. 应用程序 with missing materials may not be considered. This is a rolling admissions process.

Your Honors application allows you to tell us who you really are. Please share aspects of yourself that will help us understand what motivates you, how you want to grow as an individual, and how you want to contribute to the 荣誉学院 and the world.
This part of the application consists of two parts. Please complete both parts.
Please write an essay of 100-150 words answering the following question:
Based on your preliminary review of the UW 荣誉学院 curriculum, requirements and opportunities, (or your visit if you were able to do so!), what aspects of the program appeal to you most?

Write an essay of 250-500 words based on 一(1) of the following prompts.

As an alternative to an essay, please share a short video, 灵能点, or presentation in some other modality of a project you have completed, either individually or as part of a group, that you are proud of and that demonstrates your commitment to one or more of the following Honors priorities:

Make sure your presentation communicates both the nature of the project and your understanding of what it says about you. Please also submit a 100-word explanation along with your presentation.
Please provide a link to your submission via YouTube, Vimeo, or a shared cloud drive file or folder in your 100 word explanation. For videos or audios, the maximum length is 4 minutes.
